I have a new love….Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities markers! I have to admit that it took me a while to get on board with these, but when I chose some sets as my free product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, the moment I took them out of their box and started playing with them, I was hooked! Here are a couple of treat bag toppers that I made by stamping these super cute images and then coloring them in. It’s like coloring for grown ups!
I love this little fox.
And I can’t forget this sweet birdie.
I can’t wait to use these markers to make some Valentine’s Day cards!
I love decorating for Christmas every year, but I have never gotten into the swing of creating an advent calendar. Well, this year I bought a set of 25 cute little boxes that were designed with advent calendars in mind, so of course I had to use them! This ended up being a very easy project and one that pretty much anyone can do, even if you think you aren’t a crafter.
Kraft Boxes (I used Stampin Up’s 2 inch square boxes)
Number and Letter Stamps
Assembling these boxes was very simple and allows for a lot of creativity. I used two stamp pads, brown ink and white ink, to stamp on the boxes and to stamp numbers and letters on the paper to mark each date leading up to Christmas. If you don’t have stamps, you could handwrite the letters/numbers, or print them out on a regular printer and punch/cut them out.
I adhered the pieces together with a tape runner, added some string and rosemary from the yard, and Ta Da! My first Advent Calendar. Now I just need to decide what to put inside them…any ideas?
